Compare of Different Transposition Modes of Double-circuit Transmission Lines |

Abstract In order to ensure the symmetry of voltage and current in the transmission line, transposition is necessary when the transmission line is over a certain length. In this paper, the three sections transposition method and nine sections transposition method are analyzed in theory. And the model of 750kV transmission lines is set up to calculate the voltages of three phases by using ATP-EMTP. The symmetry effects of different methods are analyzed. It can be seen that nine sections transposition effect is better than three sections transposition method.
