Summarization for Flux-weakening Performance of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Applied in Electric Vehicle |

Abstract The impact from motor structure and several other key parameters to flux-weakening performance was analyzed by combining the structural characteristics of PMSM, its flux-weakening principles and the special operating conditions of electric vehicles. This paper also reviews the research status of flux-weakening performance in recent years, to provide a reference for the study of flux-weakening performance of PMSM applied in EV.
