Abstract IEC 61850 is the integral intelligent substation communication system and has the significant meaning to achieve the interoperability of IED devices in the intelligent substation. And the IEC 61850 engineering relaying application model made by the state grid is to optimize the international standard of relaying application of IEC 61850 substation communication system, to achieve the interoperability of each IED device, to improve the convenience of production, debugging, overhaul and operation of the IEC 61850 devices, and then improve the flexibility and reliability of the secondary safety measures.
