The Optimizing Method of Distribution Design to Improve the Power Quality of Control System for Wind Turbine Generator Set |

Abstract Because of more and more wide application of PWM full power converter in the modern wind turbine generator set, the 400Vac supply of control system contains some high frequency harmonics which are caused by the switch frequency of grid side inverter. With the development of technology and scale of the wind turbine, equipments with capacitors at their AC input such as general converter are introduced into the electric control system. The circuit with resonance frequency nearby the switch frequency of grid side inverter will be established by capacitors of these equipments, leakage inductance of transformer and self inductance of power supply line. Then the high frequency compositions of supply voltage are enlarged, and the quality of power supply is deteriorated. In this paper, a optimizing method of distribution design is proposed to filter the high order harmonics of 400V ac supply voltage. The validity of the method is supported by the application on the site of wind farm.
