Abstract  To mitigate the power fluctuation of wind farm and make full utilization of wind energy, a multi-objective coordinated scheduling model of wind-storage hybrid system with wind power and pumped water power storage is built. The smoothness of the output power and the maximum benefit from this system are taken as the optimization object. A virtual ideal molecular based on multi-objective improved particle swam optimization algorithm (PSO) is proposed, and the established model is solved by the proposed algorithem. Results of calculation example show that the output fluctuation of wind-storage generation can be effectively suppressed and the income of wind-storage hybrid system can be increased.
