Abstract In this paper, a multi-objective decision making method for limiting the short-circuit current of the power grid is proposed. The method of impedance matrix of power grid by the end of the line breaking through monitoring, calculate the open circuit and m n exceed the standard site when the sensitivity of self impedance; and according to each site exceed the standard short-circuit current exceed the standard degree, a multi-objective model and calculate the Pareto optimal solution set, the optimal combination of breaking for short-circuit current limitation all exceed the standard the site of the. The method presented in this paper can meet the effect of the short circuit current and the overall effectiveness of the system.
