Abstract Based on the electric line two 10kV Yu Heng Industrial Zone hand in hand overhead as an example, when put the 10kV section switch more, according to the conventional three section type overcurrent coordination strategy setting, will appear the realistic problem of setting calculation difficulties and skip trip. Based on this problem, this paper proposes a 10kV overhead of more effective station section switch overcurrent coordination strategies, namely, multiple sets of protection setting mode, switch are alternately arranged over current I, II, III section protection and I. This article after the application of PSCAD simulation software modeling and simulation experiments, results show that this strategy can effectively prevent the 10kV line multiple section switch on the lower level with the emergence of tripping, the misoperation problem, override trip, fit provides a effective way of thinking for a plurality of switch over-current protection, 10kV line of multi switch operation and equipment procurement has realistic guiding significance.
