Abstract There are varieties of unpredictable disturbances in low-voltage apparatus products testing field. In order to make those collected signals can reflect their real shapes and facilitate subsequent analysis and evaluation, choosing appropriate denoising tool to denoise according to testing occasion is needed. Therefore, an integrated virtual filter SubFilter was introducted, studies on denoising ability of this filter were carried out combining with instances. Then, this filter was applied to the upper-computer software of a small capacity switching element testing system, and actual testing signals were denoised through the software. Results showed that the denoising effect of this filter was reliable and valid, which provided guarantees for carrying out low-voltage apparatus products tests better.
