High-speed Traction Power Supply System Modeling and the Harmonics Influence of Operation Parameters on the Grid |

Abstract Based on the analysis of the operation principle of AC-DC-AC locomotive in traction power supply system, this paper established a simplified model of CRH380B with active power, power factor, DC side voltage as a reference, and the united model of traction loads of electric locomotive, traction network and power system by PSCAD/EMTDC, analyzed what impact would have on grid current harmonics for AT transformer leakage reactance, the external power supply capacity (network capacity), the impact of traction transformer capacity by simulation. Simulation results showed that AT leakage reactance transformer, traction transformer capacity had a greater impact on the grid current harmonics, and current harmonics was less affected by the external power supply capacity.
