Differential Time-Domain Spectroscopy based on Depolarization Charge Measurement for Diagnosis of Oil-paper Insulation Condition |

Abstract This paper proposes a judgment method of Differential dielectric spectroscopy method for the polarization branches number of equivalent circuit of oil-paper insulation.In order to better assess the state of the transformer oil-paper insulation aging,this paper put forward depolarization quantity of electricity models to assess the state of the transformer oil-paper insulation based on the theory of dielectric and Equivalent Circuit Method. The depolarization current curve for different insulation status is different, so several characteristics are proposed. They include the polarization branches number, polarization component, atypical linear and polarization response time. Based on the multiple sets of transformer depolarization current curve, the polarization response time will be smaller and the others will be biger with the deterioration of insulating state. This method provides a new way for the accurate assessment of oil-paper insulation.
