Research on the Application of Allan Variance in the Accuracy Evaluation of Transformer

Abstract  According to the correlation with primary signal, the noise can be divided into two categories: multiplicative noise that is correlated with primary signal and additive noise that is independent of primary signal. A method based on Allan variance is presented in this article. Multiplicative noise and additive noise of transformer are separated by the method. The effectiveness of the method is verified by the results of computer simulation.
