Development of Ultrasonic Sensor and Anti-interference Research for Partial Discharge in High Voltage Switchgear |

Abstract Based on ultrasonic signals generated by partial discharge,the ultrasonic spectrum of the partial discharge is analyzed in this paper. According to the ultrasonic spectrum, the ultrasonic sensor SR40M with center frequency 40kHz is chosen. And considering the high output resistance and the weak output signals of the sensor, an amplifying circuit has been designed in this paper. In order to reduce noise, the active band-pass filter circuit is chosen to filter out the noise. The simulation model of ultrasonic shield is established by using finite element analysis software. The results show that ultrasonic shield can greatly reduce the influence of the interference signal, and improve the anti-interference ability of the sensor.
