Abstract Based on the principle of multi-winding flux coupling, a mathematical model of low voltage power distribution system is established. The characteristic of zero order equivalent circuit is analyzed, which shows that it can filter out the zero-sequence first harmonic and harmonic load current, and reduces the zero-sequence current caused by the zero-sequence component of power source. The Matlab simulation method verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis. The power saver for Low voltage power distribution system makes the zero sequence low resistance bypass between the power supply and the load, the fundamental imbalance current, the third harmonic frequency harmonic current and other zero sequence current generated by the load flow into the zero sequence low resistance bypass to save the electric power. The power saver for Low voltage power distribution system can filter out harmonic current, balance three-phase unbalanced load to improve the power quality.
