Abstract In order to further improve the efficiency of substation operation and maintenance, the research on efficient supervision and management of substation equipment patrol and maintenance based on augmented reality is carried out. Augmented reality technology is applied to the process of substation patrol inspection. A substation patrol management system based on intelligent interactive terminal is designed and developed. The functions of on-site operation safety supervision and management, remote online consultation and command management, multimedia information enhancement display and operation and maintenance information management of the system are introduced in detail, and applied to the actual patrol management. Taking the application of Jining Power Supply Company in a 220kV substation as an example, the system is compared with the traditional operation and maintenance mode, and the application effect is good.
