A series equivalent model of asynchronous motor considering iron loss |

Abstract The iron loss of induction motor makes the rotor current and rotator flux interrupt each other which causes the output torque to deviate and affects the controlling precision in the actual operation of the motor. A series model of the iron loss resistance of the asynchronous motor is proposed, considering the shortcomings of the parallel equivalent model and series equivalent model of the iron loss resistance of the existing motor. Deduce the mathematical model of asynchronous motor including series iron loss resistance in two-phase stationary frame, and with Simulink establish the simulation model of that. Compared the models with simulations, the simulation results demonstrate that the model with series iron loss resistance is closed to reality of asynchronous motor. The proposed high-efficient model provides a more accurate approximation to actual asynchronous motor with the advantages of no need to increase calculation variables, fast response, and good starting performance.
