The Research of Carrier Modulation Strategy on Three-level NPC APF |

Abstract In this paper, treat the three-level diode-clamped converters (NPC) as the research object, analysis of the multicarrier modulation strategy in three-level APF. Based on the modeling and simulation, verified the design of active power filter (APF) can be good tracking to compensate harmonics of current, under the condition of the mutation load. We select the in-phase cascade carrier in PWM control, and contrast it with the other two methods of carrier, compare the FFT analysis of the grid side voltage and current waveforms, Come to the conclusion that the in-phase cascade carrier the paper used can well meet the job requirements, the voltage and current THD of the grid are lower than the other two methods.
