Abstract In allusion to these application environments of Profibus-DP communication system which have less measure points and under moderate data complexity, and on the premise of thorough work capability, this essay proposes a low-cost design scheme to buid an intelligent Profibus-DP slave station with cheap APC3 and STM32 chips. The essay analyzes the usual design plans, and then expounds the design method in terms of hardware and software. The intelligent Profibus-DP slave station can be configured rightly by master station(MS) and changes to data-exchange status. The pressure datas can be passed to the MS timely and correctly.
