Abstract As soon as possible in order to play the UHVDC project economic benefits during the project construction period, equipments are energized and put into service partly in different stage, so there are operating and testing equipments in the same time at site, it’s dangerous and adverse for the project under construction.Based on the Jin-Su UHVDC project Suzhou station, this paper studies the security isolation scheme deeply, after the actual verification, to prove the safety isolation schemes are effective, and worthy of further promotion in other UHVDC projects.
