MPPT Control of Photovoltaic Generation System Combining Constant Voltage Method with Perturb Observe Method |

Abstract This paper puts forward a new control algorithm of photovoltaic maximum power tracking (MPPT). At the given light and temperature, solar photovoltaic power generation system has a unique maximum power point (MPP). In this system, we obtain the maximum power of the solar cell targets as the destination, analyze the equivalent circuit of the solar cell and its common mathematical model, use a maximum power point tracking method that constant voltage method based on Perturbation and observation method and establish the simulation model of the control function with MPPT for PV system. The simulation and experiment show that this method can achieve maximum power point tracking, and improve efficiency of solar cells.
