Optimal Control Strategies of MPPT of Photovoltaic Array Considering Partial Shadow |

Abstract According to multi-peak characteristics of PV array output under partial shaded condition, A novel control method, which combine particle swarm optimization(PSO) algorithm with fuzzy control perturb and observation(FCP&O) algorithm, is proposed in this paper. The globally maximum power point and extreme values are found by PSO algorithm; by setting the language variables, defining fuzzy subsets and fuzzy control reasoning, Tracking adjustment and stability control is realized by using FCP&O algorithm for the maximum power output of PV generation system. the search accuracy is improved, and the search time is shortened by this method, it avoids shock at the maximum power point. The correctness and effectiveness are verified by simulative results.
