Abstract IEC 61850 in substation has got more and more applications, made a lot of application experience. Based on these experiences, this paper focuses on the modeling method on IEC 61850 of digital converter station control equipment advanced application platform. In order to control the equipment as the object, the control system function module classification, combined with the control object oriented classification, focusing on the description of extended logical node and data object of class type.
