Abstract This article mainly aims at the 1kA current pulse generator research and puts forward a design based on STC12C5A60S2 microcontroller of how to control and acquisition of pulse current problems.Charging by microcomputer control circuit, the electrical energy is stored in the capacitor, the capacitor discharges rapidly in a very short time, produces a large instantaneous current, then gathering input is sent to microcomputer, and the collected data and waveform display on the LCD screen, which has great practical significance for the preventive effect generated by lightning.
