Abstract For GOOSE and SV signals transfered on process layer, this paper analyzes quality factors support by current GOOSE and SV, including maintenance, broken links, data disablement for GOOSE quality and invalid, synchronization, broken links, data disablement, channel delay changes, etc for SV quality, illustrates the causes and the judgment method, analyzes the influence of various GOOSE and SV quality factors for protection device detailed, and it proposes the process method of each type of protection device.
