Abstract The cyber security problem of industrial control system becomes increasingly serious, abnormal detection technology in domestic is still at an initial stage, thus, this paper regards the specific industrial control system--Industrial Automation Platform as the object of this research. Abnormal state detection system is designed from the aspect of control configurations, operational instructions and network traffic. Designs of hardware architecture and software structure have been included. The system is simulated and tested on Industrial Automation Platform (IAP). The result shows that the system can monitor abnormal state and traffic effectively. Moreover, it doesn't affect the availability of the whole platform.
