Abstract This article describes the constitution of the clock system for whole Hongyanhe nuclear power plant (DTC system), and the situation of the clock system in substations. Because of multiple sets of time synchronization system in nuclear power plant, the synchronization precision is low. Moreover, the power supply of the time synchronization device is unreliable. To solve the above problems, this paper presents the Optimized Design of existing clock synchronization system in substations.
