Abstract The dynamic characteristics are different and affect the contacts bounce and the core shock when AC contactor closing at different phase angles. The AC contactor control device with phase-selection and communication function based on dsPIC microprocessor is designed for phase- selection. The device includes dsPIC MCU control module, the key module, LCD display module, sampling module,execution module,which has the function of phase-selection adjustable, the operating frequency adjustable, operation times recorded, phase angle display, and PC communication. Testing results show the device can realize the function of phase-selection and the accuracy can be accepted.
