Analysis of the Magnetic Circuit of Outer Rotor Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor for Elevator |

Abstract According to the actual structure of outer rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor for elevator, a new equivalent magnetic circuit model is proposed in this paper.The electromagnetic calculation equation of outer rotor permanent magnet synchronous motor is deduced. In particularly, the leakage magnetic flux in the top of tooth at the combination of the near pole slot is calculated based on this model. The accuracy and reliability of the equivalent magnetic circuit model is verified by using Maxwell2D software for finite element analysis.
