The Application of Bandpass Filter’s Design on the Extraction of MOA Third Harmonic |

Abstract This paper introduces the way of extraction of MOA resistive leakage current which is frequently used in these days. The extraction of MOA resistive third harmonic current is achieved by designing the bandpass filter, on the basis of leakage current standard waveform of the surge arrester recommended by the criterion of DL/T 987—2005. It is indicated by the measurement result that this circuit could achieve the filter of third harmonic current of MOA current of MOA leakage current, which meets the engineering requirement with the deviation approaches 1%. Consequently, the filter circuit designed by the paper could apply in the extraction technology of leakage current from the online detection device of arrester.
