Abstract The PRTV has been an important measure of the insulation maintenance for the transmission line. This paper analyzes the pollution and insulation equipment of transmission line in Shanxi Province. Combining with the real operation, common measures for anti-pollution flashover are compared and raise some anti-pollution me asures for tranmission lines in Shanxi Province.
