Abstract In this paper, the basic principle of grounding transformer is brifly introduced, the small current ground system are analyzed. In the PSCAD/EMDTC by UMEC module to build their own Z grounding transformer, and its application to build the 35kV distribution system. Simulation results demonstrate that the model is correct, for the right to establish small current grounding system model laid the foundation.
