Abstract  In order to solve the high frequency harmonic pollution problem caused by the grid-connected inverter, the harmonic voltage distribution under the switch process of grid-connected inverter are calculated and analyzed. On the base of which a novel double resonance filter for filtering the switching harmonic voltage is proposed. Compared with the existing LCL filter, the new one has better high frequency harmonic attenuation characteristics with less total inductance, which reduces the cost and volume of the filter. The parameter design principle and implementation method are introduced as well. Finally, the effectiveness and feasibility are verified by simulation results with PSCAD.
