Flickermeter Improvement and Implementation based on Time Domain Algorithm

Abstract  This paper introduces the voltage flicker time-domain and frequency-domain algorithm, and introduces the principle of two kinds of algorithms, and the main problems of frequency-domain algorithm existing in the flicker measurement are analyzed. Using the bilinear transformation, with the aid of Matlab simulation tools, and through the filter parameter correction and gain coefficient design, digital simulation is made for the voltage flicker time-domain algorithm implementation, improved the precision of the time-domain algorithm. Finally, the voltage flicker time-domain algorithm is applied in power quality monitoring device, the actual test results show that the calculation precision fully meet the requirements of IEC standards.
