Abstract This article introduces Qingyan transformer substation 4-section busbar protection configuration mode for 220kV lines. The acting logic of busbar protection at the time bus-tie or subsection switch malfunction or its dead zone fault occurs is discussed. The specific acting principle and process of this circuit breaker malfunction protection and its dead zone fault protection are fully illustrated, which provides a reference for substation operators to deal with accidents of this kind in real cases.
