Abstract This paper presents optimization and reconstruction of distribution network to reduce the active power loss. First, replace the line type, the type of voltage regulator, the type of distribution transformer and optimize their variable ratio under different operating mode; Second, install the reactive power compensation capacitors, the two is integrated optimized to reduce active power loss. The example shows that the algorithm has a better effect of reducing active power loss.
