Abstract The development status of smart substation network analysis device and fault recording device is briefly described, an integrated system design scheme is proposed, which is suitable for network analysis and fault recording application scene. The system structure is composed of management unit and collection unit, the system information collection scheme and data processing procedure are expounded. The software implementation of management unit and collection unit are discussed respectively. The overall function definition of management unit and acquisition unit and the architecture of each application module are explained. Through comparative analysis of examples, the advantages of integrated design are pointed out, and the practicability and effectiveness of the design scheme are summarized.
