Design and realization of the software for equipment development and operation and maintenance for international market |

Abstract In this paper, current situation and problems of user software for the international market are analyzed and the design philosophy and key implementation technology of bundled software for PCS-S series unit of a new generation of control and protection platform are introduced. The software, with driver package file linking the research and development of device-engineering implementation-user operation and maintenance processes, supports the online upgrade and update of driver package. With the design philosophy of “what you see is what you get”, the software solves the problems of data consistency and synchronization through distributed configuration-centralized browsing and editing. The software enhances the device's configurability by means of MOT selection, configurable script, visual main wiring and graphical tripping matrix. The software realizes automatic modeling of multiple versions of IEC 61850 through embedded logic node model and layer data model of graphical configuration process and etc. The software supports description files of device capability as input sources to carry out cross-device data exchange configuration and realize the integrated design of device configuration, debugging, integration and operation and maintenance of intelligent substation. PCS-Studio software based on the design in this paper has been applied in a number of overseas engineering projects and met users’ needs.
