Abstract The arc causes and hazards are briefly analyzed. RIZNER-EagleEye arc protection system is introduced by taking JinpingⅡhydropower plant as an example, the applications of arc protection and problems encountered is introduced. The more optimized arc protection configuration scheme is proposed.
