Abstract The safe operation of distribution automation communication network is of great importance, and it is expected to be quantitatively evaluated. Firstly, the evaluation index system is constructed based on the consideration of reliability, anti-destruction, adaptation and self-healing. Secondly, the index weight is obtained by using the analytic hierarchy process, anti-entropy weight method and addition principle. Thirdly, based on the grey relational projection theory, the degree of superiority of the object to be evaluated is calculated, so as to achieve the accurate evaluation of the security performance of the distribution automation communication network. Finally, the empirical test is carried out. The research content can be used as an effective reference to improve the operation and maintenance of distribution automation communication in smart grid environment.
