Abstract At present, urban rail transit is driven by electric power. Among the subway operating costs in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other cities, the annual electricity expense accounts for about 15%~25% of the total operating cost, and the electricity expense increases exponentially with the increase of operating mileage. In operation period, in order to reduce operating electricity, rail transit is not on the basis of equipment renewal and reconstruction, this paper introduces the electricity price and the relevant provisions of the category, focus on Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Hefei, Qingdao, Nanjing, Shenzhen and other cities in metro company applying for a lower settlement price of experience and practice, analyzes the city such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Ningbo, each vehicle kilometres MTR traction energy consumption indexes of lower per vehicle kilometres traction power consumption of the relevant measures are put forward, to introduce the concept of the underground station energy consumption standard values and statistics 17 has opened the subway city according to energy consumption, reduce energy consumption of move according to relevant measures are put forward.
