Abstract With the deepening development of China's socialist marketing economy, the electric power of China has fully introduced the market mechanism. By that concept, the whole electric power production and operation of power generation, transmission, distribution and selling electricity links into the market economy system. By building the competitive electricity market, can achieves the optimal allocation of power resources and makes a dynamic balance between the power supply and demand. In this paper, taking from the real case of Guangdong Power Grid’s regional power demand and supply market in Guangdong Province and with combination of market economic theory, business management, cost theory research, study and analysis of the market framework and operation of electricity supply and demand of the Guangdong region, also with further analysis with the regional structure of the grid and power source, power transmission, distribution and sale of electricity. And this paper try to analyzing the effective measures of Guangdong power grid in regional power supply market from multiple dimensions. The aim of this paper is to build a better situation more in line with the scientific development concept, better suited to Guangdong's future economic development of power supply and demand market to provide a useful reference.
