Multi-load mode analysis of wireless supplying system for electric vehicles |

Abstract When electric vehicles run on the wireless power supplying rail, it will appear multi-load working mode that more than one electric vehicles collect the power from one rail. Aimed at the stability problem of multi-load mode, this paper mainly analyzes how the number of loads influences the system stability and gets the boundary condition of the load quantity. Meanwhile, to solve the problem of coils breakdown for high-power supplying, the L coil structure and T magnetic core structure are proposed. The proposed structures effectively reduce the supplying coils’ self-inductance on the premise of guaranteeing the power transfer and ensure the security of multi-load system. At last, the validity of theoretical analysis is verified by simulation and experiment.
