Abstract  Temperature is the key parameter of the operating state of the transformer. Real-time monitoring of the transformer temperature can effectively prevent accidents and ensure the safe and stable operation of the transformer equipment. In this paper, the theoretical basis of the device is described, including the theory of thermoelectricity generation and the derivation of impedance matching, and the reliability of the wireless signal transmitter is tested. Then the working principle of the device is introduced. Finally, the device is applied to a 220kV transformer in a substation in Henan province for verification. The results show that: The device's antenna performs well at 433MHz operating frequency. The temperature measuring device can monitor the temperature change of the transformer for a long time, safely and effectively, avoiding the safety hazard of the transformer caused by the excessive operating temperature of the transformer, and providing technical guarantee for the safe operation of the transformer. The practicability of the device is verified.
