Study on capacitor resonance based on KL dispersion

Abstract  Capacitor is an important equipment to ensure voltage and reactive power regulation, which has important influence on voltage stability and voltage quality in power system. Aiming at the problem that the input of capacitors leads to the increase of capacitor resonance caused by the investment of harmonic source, a method of capacitor resonant harmonious vibration source identification based on KL dispersion method is proposed. Firstly, the harmonic model containing capacitance is simplified, the equivalent is harmonic source and harmonic load parallel model, and then the location of harmonic source of substation is identified by KL dispersion according to the correlation degree of each branch. Finally, the validity of the proposed method is verified by simulation simulation and field test data, which provides a new method for capacitance resonance analysis and harmonic source identification of substation.
