Abstract For the energy saving and easily adjust, there are more and more frequency converters applied in chemical plant, but nonlinear distortion bring too much high level harmonics to electric network, do harm to other electric equipment. We need to deal with harmonics for its hazard, there are several ways to handle, but in practice, we should choose the most effective and economical proposal.
