Abstract Aiming at the current smart substation layer process switches fault influence, the equipment quantity and high coupling and substation configuration description file maintenance difficult problem, the intelligent substation secondary system optimization scheme is proposed, through the protection, measurement and control device sharing acquisition execution unit, the influence of process layer switch fault can be reduced. Coupling between devices by standardizing devices and models can be reduced. Through the means of substation configuration description file online control, the problems of high coupling and difficult maintenance of substation configuration description files can be solved. Through the secondary system optimization scheme, the current smart substation construction economy and operation and maintenance convenience are improved. The feasibility and effectiveness of the scheme are proved by the actual substation case.
