Abstract Spring operating mechanism is widely used in circuit breakers because of its simple structure, small size, no pollution to the environment, high reliability and many other advantages. In the operation failure of spring operating mechanism, the problem of energy storage spring is the most prominent. This paper designs an on-line monitoring system for spring pressure of spring operating mechanism of circuit breakers, which realizes the spring fracture and fatigue relaxation of circuit breakers online monitoring and fault warning.
