Abstract The back-up-switchover-unit can put the standby power supply into operation quickly after the working power supply is disconnected due to fault or other reasons. However, if the working power supply trips due to short circuit at the load end, the tripping signal of the power supply protection device shall block the action of the back-up-switchover-unit, otherwise the standby power supply will also be closed in the fault and lead to secondary damage. Based on the field test, this paper analyzes the problems existing in the locking function of the back-up-switchover-unit, and puts forward the corresponding solutions, which improves the reliability of the back-up-switchover-unit.
