Development and analysis of a universal insulator replacement fixture |

Abstract In view of the current situation that there are many types of insulators and the replacement efficiency is low due to the non-universality of traditional fixtures, this paper designs a universal replacement fixture aiming at universality and lightweight. The finite element method is used to carry out the designed fixture mechanical performance simulation analysis under the actual working conditions, and the results show that the fixture meets the strength requirements under the static load of 132kN. The fixture successfully passes the actual replacement operation test, which verified the correctness of the finite element results and the universality and rationality of the fixture structure design.
