Abstract New transformer protection principles based on parameter identification need to accurately identify transformer winding parameters.This paper deduces parameter identification equations of single-phase double-winding transformer and three-phase three-winding transformer.And then a new parameter identification algorithm is put forward on the basis of hybrid algorithm which consists of least squares method and particle swarm optimization algorithm.The new algorithm can realize precise identification of parameters of transformer winding.The simulation of matlab/simulink verifies the feasibility of hybrid algorithm.This algorithm has a good application prospect.
