Abstract The basic principle and structure of Muti-converter are studied in this paper. Three-winding tansformer method for realizing Muti-converter model in PSCAD/EMTDC are proposed.A rest systeem is used to Muti-converter.The software engineering of external characteristic of Muti-converter on VB and PSCAD.Simulation model and simulation results report can generate automatically on this software.The simulation results and the theoretical values and experimental values are consistent.Simulation model and software have the pratical value.
